Selecting Class Objective Documents
By adding objectives to your class you will be able to track your state/province/school core competencies over time. Objectives can be added to activities allowing you as the teacher to track progress and allowing parents and students to see exactly what they are working on.
We are continuously working to add objectives/standards for new regions as they become available in machine-readable, digital format. If you don’t see objectives/standards populating when you create activities, you’ll need to add them to your class.
To select your objective documents follow the steps below:
Step 1: Click Edit Class in your Account Settings
Step 2: Click Select Objective Documents
Step 3: Select the objective documents that are applicable to this class
FreshTip: You will need to repeat this for each class that you are using.
Setting Class Grades and Subjects
Now that you have selected your objective documents you will need to make sure that you have also selected the correct grades and subjects for your class. If you are using one of our school/district accounts your grade levels are automatically selected for you.
Please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Click 'Edit Class' in your 'Account Settings'
Step 2: Click 'Grade Levels' to change the grades for your class
Step 3: Click 'Subjects' and select your class subjects
FreshTip: Once you have selected made your selections make sure to scroll to the bottom and click 'Save'
